Tiger Time is a vibrant, six-level primary course based around different settings and characters which grow and change with the students, reflecting their evolving interests and needs.

愛吃炸物與糖飲 心臟病風險驟增

美國研究人員發現，時常攝取「美國南方式飲食」的人－包括油炸食物、雞蛋、培根與火腿等加工肉品以及含糖飲料等，接下來6年心臟病發或罹患其他心臟疾病的風險，和健康飲食的人相比多了56%。

研究主持人、伯明罕阿拉巴馬大學（University of Alabama at Birmingham）預防醫學部營養流行病學家席卡尼（James Shikany）說：「無論性別、種族或是居住地，如果時常攝取美國南方式飲食，就應該留意心臟病風險，並且嘗試在飲食上逐步做些改變。」

研究人員將受試者分成5個飲食類型：第1類南方式飲食；第2類則是嗜吃義大利麵、墨西哥菜、中式食物與披薩等；第3類是以蔬果為主的飲食；第4是甜食族；再來是酒精/沙拉類，也就是喜歡喝酒與生菜沙拉飲食的人。

研究發現，只有嗜吃南方式飲食的族群，面臨較高的心臟疾病風險。

研究對象涵蓋1萬7000多名美國人，研究歷時6年，成果發表在美國心臟學會（American Heart Association）出版的「循環雜誌」（Circulation）。
