老蔣在大江南北留下「行宮」，唯獨把上海東平路9號的房子以愛命名，還在大石刻上手書的「愛廬」兩字，與宋美齡共譜戀曲。愛廬是宋子文送給妹妹、妹婿的新婚禮物，1958年上海音樂學院附中遷入後，平時不對外開放，但每逢6月14日「文化遺產日」當天，上海許多特色歷史建築將免費歡迎遊客參觀，愛廬就是其中之一，可把握一天良機。
