恆春南門圓環 設永久性車阻

恆春南門圓環為避免車輛穿越，目前設置交通方向指示牌，但簡單設計牌子和古蹟完全不搭，被民眾批評醜到不行。縣府文化處指出，將搭配古城造型打造永久性車阻，還給古蹟原本風貌，目前已發包，預計10月前完工。

恆春古城有4個城門，其中北門、西門車輛可穿過城門，東門無法穿越，南門則設計成圓環，車輛必須繞圓環而行。去年底發生2起穿越南門交通意外，1名騎士不幸死亡，為避免類似事件再發生，文化處先設立暫時性交通方向指示牌。

副處長曾龍陽說，目前交通標誌只是暫時，未來會打造永久性圓柱形車阻，搭配古蹟造型，既能維護古蹟整體風貌又能保障交通安全。這項工程原本預計4月完成，但一直拖到現在仍未動工，民眾因此質疑行政機關速度太過龜化。

曾龍陽解釋，由於恆春古城是國定古蹟，文化部要求必須將新設車阻計畫送到中央審核才會拖慢時程。目前計畫交給縣府負責，已由文化資產保護所發包，預計10月前能完成。

他表示，永久性圓柱形車阻是以水泥柱外表舖上洗石子，搭配南門圓環外牆，底部加裝反光標誌，屆時暫時性交通標誌拆掉，就能還給南門圓環完整風貌。
